Chalam Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Chalam, a digital dream journaling and AI-assisted interpretation platform. Chalam is owned and operated by:

("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Chalam mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chalam. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with parental or legal guardian consent.

2. Description of Service

Chalam provides:

• Dream journaling tools
• AI-generated dream interpretations
• Pattern analysis and visualizations ("Dream Map")
• Context tracking (e.g., sleep, mood, optional lifestyle inputs)
• Subscription-based premium features ("Chalam Plus")

The Service is for informational, self-reflection, and entertainment purposes only. Chalam does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic services.

3. No Medical, Psychological, or Therapeutic Advice

The interpretations, insights, themes, pattern detection, and any AI-generated content are: not medical advice; not psychological diagnoses; not therapeutic treatment; not a substitute for professional care.

If you are experiencing emotional distress, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or mental health concerns, you should seek help from a licensed professional or contact local emergency services. Chalam is not a crisis response service and does not provide real-time emergency support.

You agree that Archatech Labs LLC shall not be liable for any decisions made based on content provided in the Service.

4. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

Chalam uses artificial intelligence systems to generate interpretations and insights. AI systems may: produce inaccurate or incomplete results; misinterpret context; generate content that appears meaningful but is statistically generated; contain errors or hallucinated outputs.

You understand and agree that:

• AI outputs are probabilistic, not factual determinations.
• Interpretations should not be treated as authoritative conclusions.
• You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and use AI-generated content.
• We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI outputs.

5. User Content & License

You retain ownership of dreams, journal entries, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Archatech Labs LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to: store and process your content; generate interpretations and insights; improve Service functionality; create anonymized and aggregated data sets.

We do not claim ownership of your dream entries. We will not publicly display identifiable content without your consent.

6. Data Usage, Aggregation & Monetization

Chalam may use anonymized and aggregated data for: statistical analysis; trend research; product development; academic or commercial research partnerships; business intelligence.

"Anonymized" means data that cannot reasonably identify an individual. We will not sell personally identifiable dream entries without explicit user consent. All personal data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy & Sensitive Content

Dreams may contain highly personal or emotional material. You acknowledge: you voluntarily provide this content; we are not responsible for emotional reactions resulting from reviewing stored entries; you should avoid including sensitive third-party personal data without consent; you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

8. Subscriptions & Billing

Chalam offers optional paid subscriptions ("Chalam Plus"). Subscriptions: automatically renew unless canceled; are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play; must be canceled through the respective app marketplace. Refunds are governed by Apple and Google policies. We do not control third-party billing systems. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with advance notice.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Upload malicious, harmful, or illegal content
• Reverse engineer the software
• Attempt to scrape or extract proprietary models
• Interfere with Service functionality

Violation may result in suspension or termination.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you: violate these Terms; engage in abuse of AI systems; attempt fraud; cause harm to the platform. We may terminate the Service at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

All branding, UI designs, software, algorithms, graphics, Dream Map visualizations, and proprietary logic are owned by Archatech Labs LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without written permission.

12. Export Compliance

You may not use the Service if you are located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo or if you are on any U.S. government prohibited party list. You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archatech Labs LLC shall not be liable for: emotional distress; psychological harm; indirect or consequential damages; loss of data; business interruption; reliance on AI interpretations. Total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Archatech Labs LLC and its affiliates from any claims arising from: your use of the Service; your User Content; your violation of these Terms.

15. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Pennsylvania. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

17. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
